CONCRETE REPAIR

No amount of epoxy coating will make a damaged or uneven floor look good.  With every job we do we stress preparation, which often requires that an existing floor be repaired and/or leveled.

THE PROJECT - Retail Clothing Store - Boston, MA

Spalled, Uneven Concrete Floor in Boston Retail Space

THE PROBLEM

The existing floor was not level and had holes and spalled concrete. The repair had to be done quickly and had to be poured from 2” to a feather edge.

Small Diameter Stone Covered with High Strength Polymer Leveler
A Screed Bar Was Used to Level The Small Diameter Stone Used To Strengthen the Repair

THE SOLUTION

Small diameter stone was used to fill deepest areas and leveled with a screed bar. A high strength self-leveling polymer modified cementitous material was poured over the stone. The next day control joints were cut to match the existing cuts and the overlay was stained to match the existing floor.

Control Joints Cut to Match Existing Concrete Floor
